Reception / Office Staff
Paris Zunker
Paris has been working with us since 2018. Whilst working with us, Paris has completed her Diploma in Practice Management and Diploma of Business. Always friendly and efficient, Paris will happily help you with general enquiries/bookings and will use her expertise to help you navigate your experience with both the private medical and allied health industries. Paris liaises closely with the hospitals and outpatient allied health teams to ensure a smooth pathway throughout your patient care experience.
Brooke Attard
Brooke commenced work with us in 2022, coming from a background working in an allied health practice. Brooke welcomes you to the practice at main reception and will happily assist you with your general enquiries regarding booking both appointments and surgical procedures.
Celia Bryan
Celia has a long history of working in health care in Bundaberg and has worked with Coral Coast Orthopaedics since 2019, focusing on “Back of House” business activities. Celia has a wealth of experience across health care in the Bundaberg area, including in the My Aged Care space and will willingly help you navigate these processes.
Nursing Staff
Rachael Greber
Commencing work at Coral Coast Orthopaedics in 2019, Rachael’s background is as a Ward Nurse from the orthopaedic ward at FSPH. Rachael moved into private industry to focus on the patient’s entire nursing journey during orthopaedic treatment. Rachael has been pivotal in setting up our patient pathway app that assist our team monitor patient’s post operative progress following elective knee replacement. Rachael is actively involved in the management of patients throughout the surgical journey providing preoperative education, hospital visits and postoperative wound care supporting Dr Hocking in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
Tarryn Hayhurst
Tarryn commenced work with us in 2019. Transitioning from Ward Nursing on the orthopaedic ward at FSPH, Tarryn provides wholistic patient care with the team at Coral Coast Orthopaedics, engaging with patients throughout their orthopaedic journey. Taryn is actively involved in pursuing best practice in the dressings and braces utilized in the ongoing care of our patients and joins Rachael in providing outstanding care throughout our patients’ care episodes.
Each of these nurses are Accredited Practitioners at both The Friendly Society Private Hospital and The Mater Bundaberg. This enables our Practice Nurses to assist Dr Hocking manage his inpatients and helps transition patients from the inpatient to outpatient environment with ongoing care provided through the rooms as required.
Kim Hocking
As the “Jack of all trades” Kim is Coral Coast Orthopaedics’ Practice Manager. Kim is a registered nurse with previous management experience as a Nursing Unit Manager in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Initially Kim worked in the Cardiothroacic Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, eventually managing their Cardiothoracic ICU. Opportunity arose in 1998 to manage the entire Cardiothoracic Unit at St George Hospital in Sydney. Having then taken time out of her own career to manage the Hocking Family. Kim now splits her time with her family and community responsibilities, managing the practice, and filling in with both nursing and reception roles as needed.
